New Games for the Fall

}{avok, just curious if there are any new games coming up since the summer is over?

BTW, absolutely love this site, just don't tell my wife or my boat, they'll get jealous.

Xenophobia, I assume you mean a free for all, no allies, no deals, no talking, everyone is the enemy. That would be interesting. Everyone would have to agree, it would be too easy to cheat, but I think most of us are pretty honorable, after all, its only a game.......

Me too - I have two games winding down in the next few weeks. I wouldn't mind trying the Lizards in a game like that.

But we should shrink the map somewhat.

Yeah, Bird could do really well. Pirate too.... But I think it would be fun to play a Carrier race, cause I don't think they would do as well as usual. Fed might be hard also. Oh, all so exciting, maybe we should opt for a random draw, you get what you get. That might be interesting too......

Perhaps, but there is something pure about the original game, random HW in a long circle. Just the way Tim intended it. Oh course all of this is up to our gracious host. And }{avok, if all you ever wanted to do was run the same scenario, over and over, I would still be a huge fan.

True, but Tim also intended diplomacy and that's removed from a xenophobia game. Some races are badly outgunned on their own.
