Power Game - The Cyborg


The Borg Collective

Borgs are assimilating natives and integrate them into their collective. Only a few Borgs dropped on a native populated planet will soon lead to a strong colony. Borgs can repair ships in space and gather minerals from destroyed enemy ships. Borgs are the only race that can not be sweettalked by the Feds. Borgs tend to have many crew on bord, but their ships need rather much tritanium.

Cyborg Disassemble

The Borgs finally found out a way to deal with the meaningless losses of assimlation on arctic or desert worlds. With a planetary code of DAX they are able to convert X times 100 clans into supplies.

Amorphous conversion

Any Borg ship with more than 50 crew can now convert Amorphous Worms into Siliconoids. Simply set shipcode to a2S and warpspeed to 0.

Moving mines

Borg ships can move mines at warp 6 when setting shipcode to MMX and shipname to nnndanything where nnn is the
minefield-id and d the direction 'U'p, 'D'own, 'L'eft or 'R'ight. Up to two ships per minefield may collaborate in this ability.

Watcher Long Range Probe

The Watcher has an enlarged fuel tank, and one beam slot was replaced by a tube.

B41 Armed Freighter

This ship can almost replace a Deep Space Courier, but it has a basic armament for clearing minefields or attacking other freighters.

Iron Slave Torpedo Boat

The former iron slave was redesigned to be a heavy torpedo boat.

Quietus Class Cruiser

An undamaged Quietus can strip a planet of all its structures and conquer the planet and a starbase without fighting, converting the structures into minerals. The greater the number of ground defense posts, the higher is the chance of failure for this mission. 200 defense posts will make the mission fail at 100%. The shipcode must be set to STR. After a succesful attack, the planet will be heated up by 10 degrees.

B222 Class Cruiser

In the need of a medium cruiser, the B222 was greatly improved.

B200 Hyp Transport

On their constant search for developing effective transportation, the Collective has changed the B200 into a hyperjumping freighter. To engage the hyperjump, set shipcode to HYP, a waypoint >21ly and warpspeed>0. It can now carry 100kt. In addition to this improvement, they also implemented some new assimilated alien technology: The B200 can now engage an advanced hyperjump of 700 ly range. This jump is exact if a waypoint between 690 and 710 ly is set. It is engaged like the standard hyperjump, except that it needs AHP as friendly code and will burn 60kT of fuel.

Firecloud Class Cruiser

Though the Firecloud can not match the B222 in combat, it is one of the most remarkable ships. It can initiate a chunnel, moving itself and all ships at the same location to another Firecloud. Both Fireclouds need to have warpspeed=0 and mustn't be towed. The targeting Firecloud needs 50 kt of fuel and set its shipcode to the id of the target Firecloud. A ship may enter the location of the targeting Firecloud and will be chunneled the same month.

Cube-F, Cube-T

Tim must have been dreaming when he designed his Cubes. In fact, a Cube has twice the mass of a Nova. Moreover, a Cube with at least engine tech 8 can go twice as fast when intercepting an enemy vessel, using no extra fuel and no increasing chance of hitting a mine.

The addons below are used within this Power Game. But only use the docs as a reference on how to use a certain addon feature. Many addons features are switched off or are highly customized.
